The Kapow Database Module extends the Kapow Web Data Server to include direct support for storing into and accessing from any major SQL database, like Oracle, Microsoft SQLServer, IBM DB2, MySQL, Sybase and more. It also includes logic to combine multiple record types by relational keys as well as automatic data management logic for history, removal of duplicates (or the ability not to insert them in the first place) and partial record change detection.

 

Data can be imported directly from major Enterprise Search systems like Microsoft Fast and Autonomy, as well as major BI systems like SAP Business Objects, IBM Cognos, Oracle Hyperion, Corda, iDashboards, Temis and Clarabridge—or essentially any system that uses a JDBC-compliant database.
