The Solution Engineer position is role within the Technical Services organization of Kapow Technologies. The SE will be involved in activities related to selling and deploying Kapow solutions, and working with our technology partners in a Business Development capacity. This role will be based out of Kapow’s headquarters office in Palo Alto, CA. The pre-sales tasks include: - Building demonstrations
- Positioning how Kapow fits into the customer’s IT architecture
- Building and presenting Proof of Concepts (POCs)
- Answering RFI/RFP’s
- Providing implementation and scoping recommendations
- Providing sales support to Kapow’s executive sales team
- Working with Kapow’s strategic and technology partners to build complimentary solutions
Profile:- Excellent communication skills, and ability to differentiate your message depending on the audience.
- Ability to solve problems and quickly adapt to changing requirements.
- Be able work systematically and creatively at the same time.
- Excellent HTML, XML, and JavaScript skills.
- Skills within at least two of the following technologies: Java, JSP, .NET, Content Management Systems, Data Warehousing, or Business Intelligence.
- A relevant academic degree: BA or MS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business or similar; MBA a plus.
- Minimum 3 years experience in a consulting or software development position, and 3 years experience in a pre-sales capacity is preferred.
- Open to possibility of 25-50% travel.
