The Kapow product offering falls into two categories, offering a compelling, but different set of value propostions for our customers:

Enterprise Products - this is the Kapow Mashup Server family of products, available in three different product editions. The Products are installed, operated, and managed on-site by our customers and are offered with a subscription-based CPU licensing model

OnDemand Service - this is an enterprise-grade all inclusive hosted service for the collection of realtime web intelligence, operated and managed by Kapow. This services is offered on a subscription basis, delivering a consistent level of capacity and capabilities, as defined by the terms of service agreement.

The Right Tool for the Job

Determining which product is right for you largely depends on the type of problems you're trying to solve, what data sources you need access to, and what you intend to do with the data that you collect. (view the product comparison chart)

The OnDemand service is the right choice when you need to collect web intelligence from the public web on a realtime basis that you intend to integrate directly into Excel spreadsheets or application environments capable of consuming XML. This is also an excellent choice for customers who have limited IT expertise and infrastructure and want to focus on the harvesting of web intelligence without having to deal with the build out and maintenance of the underlying software infrastructure required to deliver these capabilities.

Enterprise Products are a better choice when you're collecting high volumes of web data to be written to a database, published to a portal, or combined with structured data sources as part of a complex data flow between web applications or content management systems.

Regardless of which product you choose, you'll be getting a proven product that's in use today by more than 300 customers, and with more than 10 years of product development and refinement behind it.
